okay but the jokes of "I haven't done [blank] since last year!" that people make whenever the new year rolls around never ceases to amuse me why are they always so funny for no fucking reason 😭

my new years was okay, pretty uneventful as I didn't do anything but lay in bed attempting to write and then ultimately failing (I've done that for the entire holiday season tbh I haven't been productive at all and it's not great)
